Pair of Large Danish Brass Candleholders 1960s

In Danish design of the 1960s, brass played a significant role in creating objects with clean lines and a subtly sculptural presence. This pair of tall candlesticks exemplifies this, with their slender silhouette and sloping cups characteristic of the Scandinavian aesthetic of the period. Made of turned brass, they showcase precise craftsmanship, blending stability, clean lines, and meticulous finishing. No designer is identified, suggesting small-batch production by specialized workshops. The condition is very good, with a uniform patina resulting from age and the material. Each candlestick measures 30 cm in height and 10.5 cm in width. Presented as a pair, they offer an elegant presence on a console, a table or a fireplace, bringing a refined touch of 1960s Danish design.
