FRPair of Italian Metal and Aluminum Candleholdersc80s
Détails du produit
In 1980s Italy, decorative design revisited classic forms using industrial materials and understated finishes. This pair of candlesticks perfectly embodies this approach, blending timeless elegance with formal rigor. Italian production, designer unknown. Each candlestick is crafted from metal and aluminum, with a slender stem punctuated by successive turned volumes.
The wide, stable circular base complements the delicate central column, while the flared upper section is designed to hold a slim candle. The overall effect is a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional candlestick, refined and balanced. The condition is good to very good. The metal has a uniform patina, with discreet and regular signs of wear consistent with age and use. There are no significant dents or damage. The two pieces are well-matched in proportions and finish.
