Lumia Contemporary Table Lamps in Terracotta and Gold

At the crossroads of design and sculpture, "Lumia d'Or" reinterprets the signature lines of Lumia in a unique edition created for France Design Week 2025. Created especially for a collaboration with master chocolatier "Thierry Papereux", this one-of-a-kind piece pays tribute to the "Palet d'Or", the house's iconic chocolate. Its hand-applied metallic gold finish evokes not the richness of a material, but the richness of a gesture. Much like a chocolate crafted with precision, it celebrates the time and care required to reveal the beauty of a simple material. Here, terracotta is adorned with a subtle golden glow, just as chocolate becomes a vessel for refined flavors—two crafts brought together by a shared pursuit of delicacy and emotion. The adjustable washi paper shade allows you to tailor the direction and quality of the light to your needs. Using its wooden handles, the shade can be tilted forwards, backwards, or sideways, offering precise control over the lighting while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Designed for contemporary interiors, "Lumia d'Or" naturally finds its place in a living room, bedroom, or reading corner, where it becomes both a source of light and a sculptural presence. Conceived as a collectible object as much as a luminaire, it extends the dialogue between earth, light, and artisanal craftsmanship. → Terracotta base: sculpted and fired locally. → Hand-rolled Japanese paper lampshade: adjustable to suit your mood. → Turned beech wood handles and bulb holder. → Wool felt glides: gentle on surfaces. → Brass beads.
