Glass Cube Ashtray - Clear Crystal with Blue Sommerso Core (c. 1970s)

A striking example of Italian mid-century art glass craftsmanship. This heavy, geometric cube-shaped ashtray is masterfully sculpted from thick, faceted clear crystal glass. At its heart lies a deep, vibrant cobalt blue core embedded using the iconic sommerso technique, creating a captivating illusion of floating depth and an exquisite play of light. Featuring its authentic front-facing label "Riflessi d’Autore", this piece celebrates its artistic Italian heritage. Due to its minimalist, clean-lined silhouette, this object transcends its original purpose. It functions beautifully as a sophisticated ashtray, a chic trinket dish, a contemporary tealight holder, or a sculptural paperweight for an upscale desk setup. A timeless statement piece that effortlessly enhances both Hollywood Regency and modern interiors.
